Senior Software Engineering Manager, Agentic Policies Platform

Responsibilities

• Inspire, manage, and grow a talented team of software engineers, fostering an open environment while actively guiding their career development.
• Provide end-to-end technical leadership for complex projects, overseeing requirements, design, implementation, testing, launch, and support.
• Collaborate closely with key stakeholders (PMs, TPMs, and Engineering Leads) to define and execute a compelling long-term goal and product strategy.
• Drive the planning and delivery of large-scale, infrastructure systems within a changing environment.
• Build and operate hyper-reliable infrastructure to deliver fast, intuitive, and always-correct access control for GCP customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. - 8 years of experience programming in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin or Go. - 5 years of experience in people management, including managing software engineers. - 3 years of experience managing other managers. Preferred qualifications: - Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field. - 5 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization. - Demonstrated experience using agile methodologies and tooling. - Familiarity with Identity, Authentication or Security.
