What you'll do
- Lead design, architecture, and development of native Windows desktop applications using Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML, and when needed C++.
- Define Windows desktop best practices for architecture, performance, memory usage, responsive UI, compatibility, and maintainability.
- Drive accessibility support through Windows accessibility APIs, accessible controls, focus management, keyboard navigation, and screen readers.
- Collaborate with product design, UX research, QA, and other stakeholders on Windows feature planning and roadmap decisions.
- Own features through conception, design, implementation, testing, release, and maintenance.
- Resolve complex bugs, performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, rendering issues, and compatibility problems.
Required qualifications
- At least 3 years of Windows desktop application development using Windows App SDK, WinUI or similar frameworks, C#, and XAML.
- Deep understanding of managed .NET and native code interoperability in Windows application architecture.
