Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a committed engineer to join Finstro as we build a new Credit Decisioning Engine and the pipeline that runs our internal credit workflow.

You’ll be part of a small engineering team building the platform and owning it long term, working closely with our Principal Engineer and Head of Engineering.

This is a delivery role with real ownership.

You’ll take a significant part of the system whether that’s a set of data source integrations, the services behind credit operations, or the APIs other teams build on and own it from design through to production and the support that follows.

Architecture and standards are set with the Principal Engineer and Head of Engineering.

Within that, how your part works is yours to own.

The team is small and new, so the work won’t sit neatly inside one boundary.

Expect to work across backend services most of the time, with internal tooling and front-end work when that’s what moves the project forward.

The Credit Decisioning Engine is the first project to build.

Credit workflow tooling, core lending and ledger integration, and the data services behind risk and reporting will follow.

You can expect to work across several of these areas in your first two years.
