Responsibilities
- Scope out problems in detection and response space and enable the organizational strategy to move left in the detection pipeline.
- Set technical direction, author comprehensive design documents, and lead design reviews for complex, multi-quarter features within the team.
- Partner closely with cross-functional peers and sister SWE teams to resolve architectural dependencies and align project timelines.
- Guide, mentor, and delegate tasks to adjacent junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a collaborative engineering culture.

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
3 years of experience building software for data privacy or security (e.g., identity and access management).
3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
Experience in security systems, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
Experience as a technical lead with a proven track record of leading teams.
Experienced in navigating high-ambiguity environments and defining technical strategy for engineering teams.
