Role overview
Circle is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to extend blockchain systems infrastructure and support tokenization.
The role focuses on reliable, secure payment and asset-transfer services across blockchain and banking protocols.
Responsibilities
- Build and own scalable microservices and publicly accessible APIs for payment systems.
- Integrate platform services with banks, financial technologies, blockchain protocols, and traditional banking protocols.
- Collaborate on feature design, testing, system documentation, and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot system malfunctions and build infrastructure using data sources, messaging systems, and APIs.
Required qualifications
- At least 6 years of professional software development experience.
- Experience with Java or Go and object-oriented software development.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience leading teams of 2 to 4 people technically on architecture and system design.
- Experience with payment systems, RESTful APIs, cloud services, SQL databases, and scalable production software.
- Strong communication, code quality, testing, and independent execution skills.
