Senior Software Engineer (Quality) - Core Commerce Platform

Role and organisation

Core responsibilities

• Define quality strategy and standards for order management and omnichannel fulfillment across the order lifecycle.
• Build automated frameworks for API, integration, contract, event-driven, and end-to-end commerce testing.
• Validate inventory, order orchestration, fulfillment execution, and SLA adherence through automated and exploratory testing.
• Partner with software engineers, tech leads, product owners, and data engineering teams throughout development.
• Maintain test data for order, inventory, sourcing, fulfillment, and returns scenarios.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines with quality gates, release validation, regression testing, and deployment readiness checks.
• Define quality metrics and test coverage goals, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coach engineers on test automation and quality practices.
