Job Description
The role is for a Backend Senior Software Engineer designing, building, and operating backend systems.
The engineer will report to the Engineering Director and work on production software used by customers and partners.
The role is hybrid-based with a 40% office base.
Responsibilities
- Own the full software development lifecycle from requirements and design through production support.
- Design, build, and operate backend services, including APIs, integrations, reporting, and data-focused systems.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Data Science teams on data-driven product capabilities.
- Monitor, debug, and continuously improve production systems.
- Deliver changes frequently and safely while maintaining quality and reliability.
- Explain technical decisions and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
