Role Overview
We're looking for passionate engineers to help us grow and maintain our open-source project DevLake (https://github.com/merico-dev/lake).
DevLake is designed for developer teams looking to make better sense of their development process and to bring a more data-driven approach to their own practices.
DevLake was launched in Dec 2021 and has already earned over 1,300 stars on Github, and it is being donated to Apache Software Foundation.
Responsibilities - Design and build advanced data integration and transformation infrastructure - Drive adoption of best practices in modern data stack - Support and grow the open-source community around DevLake
This job is for you if you enjoy - Maintaining and contributing to a rising open-source project OR - Making novel developer tools OR - Solving data engineering and analytics challenges
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience - 5 years of experience with software development - 1 year of experience with software design and architecture - Strong proficiency in Golang - Great communication and collaboration skills
Nice-to-have: - Experience in maintaining or contributing to open-source projects - Experience in data engineering and analytics space - Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field - 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role
