Overview
Experian - Credit Services, Identity & Fraud are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help us build and improve a mature, business-critical product.
You'll work across the full stack in a collaborative, agile team, taking features from design through to delivery.
Because our software handles sensitive customer data in a regulated environment, writing secure, high-quality code is central to how we work.
This is a Hybrid, Nottingham based role (40% in the office) reporting to the Director of Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Build new features and enhancements across an established .NET product, working full-stack from data layer to UI.
- Write clean, secure, maintainable and well-documented code, following coding standards and secure-development practices.
- Handle sensitive data responsibly, with security and data protection front of mind at every stage.
- Improve performance and reliability through refactoring, database optimization, and sensible architectural changes.
- Take part in the full delivery cycle — sprint planning, standups, retros — and work with the Product Manager to shape and deliver features.
- Help triage, maintain, and improve core parts of the existing application as the user base grows.
