NCS Australia is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and optimize next-generation products using .NET microservices, cloud-native technologies, and robust DevOps practices.
The role involves working with a high-performing product team, delivering meaningful features, and ensuring reliability and maintainability.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Scrum, DevOps, and continuous delivery, proficiency in C# and .NET, and experience with AWS core services.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize next-generation products using .NET microservices, cloud-native technologies, and robust DevOps practices.
- Work closely with a Product Manager, Engineering Lead, and an agile product team to deliver meaningful, high-quality features in each sprint.
- Apply best-practice engineering techniques including secure development, peer code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD-driven delivery.
- Build microservices and distributed components aligned with the technical reference architecture.
- Craft clean, accessible, high-performance UIs using contemporary front-end frameworks.
- Ensure reliability and maintainability by leveraging automated testing across unit, integration, and end-to-end layers.
- Assist with product rollouts, troubleshooting issues, and supporting deployments to ensure smooth and stable delivery to customers.
- Contribute to documentation, design discussions, and knowledge-sharing activities that help uplift overall engineering capability.
