About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Senior React Native Software Engineer to help design, build, and evolve high-quality mobile experiences for iOS and Android. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with deep experience delivering production React Native applications. You will influence mobile architecture, write maintainable and well-tested code, and collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, and Engineering throughout the software development lifecycle. You should be comfortable taking ownership from initial design through release, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
Design, build, test, and maintain scalable React Native applications for iOS and Android.
Develop reusable, accessible, and high-performing components using React Native and TypeScript.
Guide architectural decisions across navigation, state management, data access, and native integrations.
Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs, authentication services, analytics platforms, and third-party SDKs.
Own features from technical design through testing, release, monitoring, and production support.
Partner with Product, Design, QA, and backend engineers to deliver effective technical solutions.
Improve application performance, reliability, automated testing, CI/CD, tooling, and release processes.
Contribute through code reviews, technical discussions, knowledge sharing, and responsible technical-debt reduction.
What We're Looking For
5+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years building and supporting production React Native applications.
Strong proficiency with React Native, React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript across iOS and Android.
Strong understanding of mobile architecture, navigation, state management, component design, data persistence, and platform-specific behavior.
Experience integrating REST or GraphQL APIs, authentication, and third-party services.
Experience with automated testing, mobile build and signing, and Apple App Store and Google Play release processes.
Ability to produce clean, secure, testable, and maintainable code using sound engineering practices.
Strong ownership, communication, and problem-solving skills within a distributed engineering team.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools or integrating AI into products or engineering workflows.
Bonus Points
Experience with mobile CI/CD, over-the-air releases, observability, crash reporting, push notifications, deep linking, offline workflows, accessibility, or internationalization.
Experience building high-traffic consumer applications or integrating payments, digital wallets, or native hardware.
Experience with ticketing, concessions, point-of-sale, inventory, ordering, loyalty, cinema, entertainment, or hospitality platforms.
Familiarity with Node.js, Ruby on Rails, relational databases, Redis, or AWS.
Work Location
- This role has been designated as fully remote and is expected to be performed primarily from an employee's residence. Occasional travel is required, primarily within the United States several times a year and, in rare circumstances, globally.
