The Weights & Biases platform serves enterprise AI teams across the full AI lifecycle.
About the Role
The Senior Software Engineer will own architecture and evolution of core Weights & Biases platform systems.
ML Workflows includes Artifacts, Registry, Automations, and Launch for moving models and data through the platform.
The role spans the backend, Python SDK, and frontend and includes partnership with product, design, ML platform engineers, and customers.
What You'll Do
- Own a core platform area that scales to billions of artifacts and high-volume event and job throughput.
- Find architecture optimizations, solve complex bugs, and balance delivery with long-term platform health.
- Work across Go services, GraphQL APIs, the Python SDK, and TypeScript frontend.
- Lead migrations and re-architecture of systems with live customer traffic.
- Refactor technical debt and establish scalable engineering patterns.
- Collaborate with product and design on technical implementations.
