AI Engineering Team

What You’ll Do

• Design and build platform services, evolve system architecture, improve reliability, and resolve issues.
• Make sound technical trade-offs involving database design and schema evolution.
• Deploy, monitor, and optimise AI workloads using Python and strong software engineering practices.
• Ensure machine learning models run reliably, efficiently, and at scale.
• Turn research into production-ready tools and build production-grade systems.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Solid Python programming skills with FastAPI, Flask, or Django experience.
• Hands-on production experience deploying and monitoring machine learning models.
• Knowledge of Docker containerisation and experience building GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working within startups or scaleups and building production-grade systems.
• Strong communication, collaboration, Agile delivery, and software development best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of CPU-bound and GPU-bound workload optimisation.
• Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack monitoring and observability tools.
• Experience with Terraform or Azure.
• Experience resolving bottlenecks in distributed machine learning workloads; CUDA or low-level language knowledge is a plus.
• Experience building design automation products in the construction industry.

Hiring Process
