Role Overview
The Backend Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing backend systems.
The role involves collaborating with a technical team to build solutions for financial products.
What You Will Do
- Focus on greenfield development and improvement of existing systems.
- Build REST APIs and engineer microservices.
- Evolve systems supporting card payments, treasury management, transaction booking, and crypto liquidity.
- Use Java 25, Spring Boot, and Postgres to deliver backend systems.
- Apply clean code, maintainability, fast turnaround, TDD, DDD, and continuous integration and delivery.
What You Will Need
- Demonstrable backend development experience with fluency in Java.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or another engineering or science discipline.
