The position is Senior Software Engineer – Java within Cubic Transportation Systems.
The role focuses on Java backend development, cloud services, microservices, databases, messaging, containers, and CI/CD.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of Java backend development experience.
- Strong experience with Java 11 or later, Spring Boot, and microservices.
- Experience with AWS cloud platforms and SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.
- Solid understanding of data structures, multithreading, and distributed systems.
- Experience in the payment domain is required.
- Working knowledge of symmetric keys, asymmetric keys, certificate handling, TR-31 key blocks, and mTLS.
