Rockstar Games is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for hands-on development within its Information Systems team.

The team creates and maintains production software tools used by game development disciplines across Rockstar Games projects.

This is a full-time, permanent, in-office position based in Dundee, Scotland.

5+ years of professional experience in Java backend development.
Strong command of Java from low-level optimization through high-level architecture.
Deep expertise in Spring Boot and JPA/Hibernate.
Experience designing and scaling RESTful APIs.
Understanding of MySQL or another major relational database with query-tuning experience.
Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and change data capture pipelines.
Proficiency in Java performance profiling and debugging.
Comfort with Linux environments, communication, and production support.
