About Frontier Frontier is a new team within Digital, created to explore a fundamentally different approach to product development.

We're building new greenfield digital experiences across web, iOS and Android while developing an AI-powered delivery model that changes how software is designed, built and operated.

Rather than using AI as a coding assistant, we're rethinking the entire development lifecycle, combining human judgement with agentic systems to deliver high-quality customer experiences faster and more effectively.

Our mission is to build the next generation of digital experiences while proving a new model for software delivery, where engineers spend less time on repetitive implementation and more time on architecture, design decisions, quality and engineering judgement.

The Role Help build the future of iOS development.

In this role, you’ll establish the architecture, foundations and engineering practices underpinning Frontier's next generation of mobile experiences.

You'll work alongside product, design and engineering specialists to create exceptional customer experiences while helping shape a new AI-powered delivery model.

What you’ll do

• Own iOS architecture and development standards
• Build Swift-based foundations for new mobile experiences
• Define release, deployment and quality practices
• Embed accessibility and localisation into core components
• Partner on a shared cross-platform design system
• Drive observability and operational excellence
• Contribute to AI-enabled engineering workflows
• Shape how mobile products are built and delivered

What you’ll bring

• Significant experience building and shipping iOS applications in production environments
• Strong Swift and SwiftUI expertise
• Experience owning mobile architecture, release processes and engineering standards
• Experience using modern AI-assisted engineering tools and workflows
• A passion for building intuitive customer experiences and high-quality software
• Comfortable working in ambiguity, learning quickly and helping shape a brand-new way of building software
