Position Overview
Renovo Automation, a subsidiary of Accurant International, is hiring a Senior Software Engineer in Test.
The role focuses on quality processes and test automation for resilient, performant, and scalable energy-sector software.
The position is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with a hybrid workplace arrangement and full-time employment.
Responsibilities
- Design and build robust, maintainable test automation frameworks using modern languages and tools.
- Establish patterns for test data generation, mocks, stubs, and environment parity.
- Collaborate with leadership, product management, developers, and cross-functional teams on business-driven testing.
- Implement quality gates using defect escape rate, test reliability, and meaningful test coverage metrics.
- Coach engineers on testability, design-for-quality, and clean code practices.
- Lead test strategy for complex initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Two to five years of software testing experience focused on test automation or quality engineering at scale.
