The role leads full-stack enterprise application design, development, support, architecture, governance, and mentorship.
Primary responsibilities
- Lead enterprise application development using Java, Spring Boot, React, microservices, REST APIs, and Kafka integrations.
- Define architecture, integration patterns, technical roadmaps, and design standards for scalable and secure systems.
- Lead code and design reviews and enforce engineering practices, coding standards, and quality gates.
- Mentor engineers, support onboarding and career development, and foster continuous learning.
- Design and optimize RESTful microservices for data integrity and performance.
- Deploy Docker containers into AWS environments and support CI/CD automation.
- Collaborate with Product, Architecture, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver technical solutions.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve code quality, productivity, and SDLC efficiency.
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- 10+ years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, Kafka, and Maven.
- Solid MongoDB and MySQL experience with familiarity with caching strategies.
- Experience with Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines including GitHub Actions, AWS, and GCP.
- Experience with ReactJS, Angular, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with AI software development lifecycle tools.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience migrating legacy systems to cloud-native microservices architectures.
- Experience working with distributed onshore and offshore teams.
