The Cloud Engineering team manages infrastructure through infrastructure-as-code and GitOps practices across major cloud platforms.
The Production Engineering team builds tools and frameworks that abstract infrastructure and operational complexity for the Engineering organization.
The team is expanding its global presence and establishing an India-based team.
Candidate profile
- Experience in software development with strong backend engineering, API design, and internal developer platform focus.
- Production-level expertise in object-oriented or scripting languages, with Python or C# strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Linux, Kubernetes, networking, and infrastructure fundamentals in a multi-region microservice environment.
- Familiarity with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
- Comfort collaborating in a global team and presenting recommendations after evaluating multiple solutions.
AI and engineering practices
- Comfort using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot for code generation, infrastructure suggestions, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to evaluate AI-generated outputs, identify failure modes, and apply engineering judgment before production deployment.
- Interest in applying AI to reliability, observability, incident response, cost optimization, and developer experience.
- Understanding of data quality, context, and access controls when using AI with sensitive production data.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain .NET tenant-management tooling and automation.
- Build robust software solutions and APIs for tenant creation, deletion, renaming, migration, and refresh.
- Create tools and frameworks that increase Engineering productivity and reduce toil.
- Work with application teams to improve developer experience based on their feedback.
- Present plans to Engineering Leadership, lead shared projects, and guide less senior engineers.
- Participate in a 12-hours-on, 12-hours-off Production Engineering on-call rotation.
- Build internal tooling with AI capabilities when appropriate while meeting reliability, security, and compliance standards.
