Role Overview
Databricks is hiring a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to build scalable data and AI products.
The role combines front-end architecture, server-side development, customer experience, and product ownership.
The Vancouver research and development center will support product innovation across several strategic areas.
Product Areas
- Develop real-time log analytics capabilities across ingestion, indexing, processing, and user experience.
- Build AI and business intelligence products with dashboards, visualizations, and talk-to-your-data experiences.
- Develop Unity Catalog Business Semantics capabilities across data modeling, governance, distributed systems, and AI enablement.
- Build Databricks Apps capabilities involving Kubernetes, networking, application runtime, proxy services, and AI agents.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- At least 5 years of experience with server-side web technologies such as Node.js, Java, Python, Scala, C#, C++, or Go.
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or Ember.
- Strong understanding of front-end architecture and user experience and design principles.
