About the Role
Ripple is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Full-Stack, for its Cash Forecasting team.
The team builds an AI-amplified treasury solution for real-time cash visibility and predictive forecasting.
The role works primarily with Ruby on Rails and React software serving enterprise customers across more than 40 countries.
What You'll Do
- Build backend services and APIs while contributing frontend work when needed.
- Work across a sophisticated multi-tenant SaaS codebase designed to scale for enterprise customers.
- Own schema design, query performance, and data integrity with emphasis on PostgreSQL and SQL.
- Maintain thorough RSpec test coverage.
- Deploy services with Docker in AWS-based infrastructure.
- Create automation scripts and support data migrations.
- Implement logging, metrics, and tracing for observability.
- Benchmark and profile code to guide performance optimization.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and on-call rotation.
What You'll Bring
- 4 to 8 years of professional software development experience, ideally with backend-focused full-stack work.
- Strong SQL fundamentals; PostgreSQL experience is preferred.
- Comfort working safely in large, sophisticated existing codebases.
- Scripting ability for automation and tooling.
- Experience with Docker or other containerization technologies.
- Proven Git proficiency with collaborative branching workflows.
- Proficiency in at least one major programming language such as Ruby, Python, or Java.
- Experience using AI tools throughout the development lifecycle.
- Experience testing with RSpec.
Preferred Knowledge and Experience
- Ruby or Ruby on Rails experience.
- Frontend experience, ideally with React.
- Experience with or understanding of AWS.
- Experience building or maintaining multi-tenant enterprise SaaS platforms.
- Familiarity with observability tooling and practices.
- Experience benchmarking and profiling code.
- Financial industry experience, particularly in treasury, payments, FX, or ERP systems.
