You’ll have
6+ years’ in a hands-on Software Engineering role
Strong experience building high‑traffic customer facing web applications across frontend and backend
Experience working with databases (e.g , PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, etc)
Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript, with experience applying these skills across both UI representation and platform‑driven, rule‑based implementations
Proven backend experience using Node JS and Java with modern frameworks (e.g. Spring / Spring Boot) to build scalable APIs and services
Working knowledge of React.js, Next.js (including server-side rendering and modern rendering patterns) and modern frontend patterns to support and evolve user experiences
Solid understanding of cloud‑native development on platforms such as AWS, including deployment, scaling, and operational considerations
Experience and confidence with CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitHub Actions), version control (Git), and automated testing practices
Experience using observability and monitoring tools (e.g. Splunk, Datadog, or similar) to support production systems
A real passion for quality, clean code and continuous improvement
A strong understanding of architectural concepts and cloud-based solution design
Highly dedicated ethos - expected to take very real accountability for the work you're doing
Demonstrable ability to motivate self and others, and a passion to mentor junior developers
Experience working with technical and non-technical partners, with the capability to influence
A test and learn mindset with curiosity, collaboration and care
Experience writing multi-threaded, asynchronous code
Experience with Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Edge Delivery Services desirable
