Role overview

The role supports a multi-year frontend modernization initiative involving new tooling, a new web repository, and a faster frontend architecture.

The role also helps product teams across engineering adopt the new stack in practical and technically informed ways.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to and execute the frontend architecture strategy within an evolving roadmap.
  • Support migration efforts by identifying blockers and helping teams move onto the new stack.
  • Participate in RFCs and design reviews and communicate architectural decisions.
  • Mentor engineers at mid-level and below on the new architecture.
  • Advise on practical uses of AI tooling in frontend development.
  • Take increasing ownership of platform areas as context and trust grow.

Qualifications

  • Strong current React experience with informed opinions on performance and code quality.
  • Generalist frontend experience across the stack.
  • Clear, confident communication for design reviews and cross-team technical discussions.
  • Comfort working within a changing roadmap and evolving ecosystem.
  • Required experience with platform, tooling, or shared-infrastructure work alongside strong frontend fundamentals.
