• Raytheon Space and Air division in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer [Embedded / Radar] to be part of their product development teams for the Gen4 Tactical Airborne Radar group.

• What you will do:
• Work on complex technical problems and provide highly innovative solutions.
• Effectively contribute at all phases of the SW development lifecycle, including SW/HW integration
• Develop RT embedded SW, specifically pertaining to various radar modes and capabilities.
• Utilize strong investigation and troubleshooting skills to assess issues and develop solutions.
• Work effectively with team across multiple disciplines, internal and external
• Effectively contribute to program and customer meetings/reviews
• Support the program leads as needed regarding technical decision making, problem resolution.
• Perform technical leadership roles for at least one key tasks or line item on programs
• Mentor at least one other engineer on programs in areas of knowledge and expertise
• Help to ensure performance to technical, cost, schedule, quality.
• Support of system and software requirements and architecture generation and analysis as needed.
• Must be able to obtain "special access programs" (SAP/SAR) for continuation of employment.

• Qualifications you must have:
• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of5 years of prior relevant experience.
