- Design, build, debug and operate production systems end to end
- Work on production AI systems including LLM agents, RAG and document intelligence
- Develop Python/FastAPI backend services
- Build TypeScript/React product features
- Handle async workflows, queues, integrations and distributed systems
- Perform production debugging, observability and reliability
Requirements
- 7+ years software engineering experience
- Strong Python backend experience (FastAPI preferred)
- Early stage startup experience
- Experience owning features from design through deployment and production
- Strong understanding of APIs, databases, distributed systems and reliability
- Daily use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, etc.)
- Ability to use AI tools for planning, architecture, debugging and delivery
- Strong product mindset and ownership mentality
