The Senior Software Engineer will join a cross-functional infrastructure team focused on developer productivity and cloud infrastructure.
The role designs and builds scalable internal tools that help engineers write, test, and release software with confidence.
The position focuses on understanding systems end to end and automating engineering workflows.
Responsibilities
- Re-architect build and compute infrastructure to improve the developer experience.
- Use containerization, remote caching, and job orchestration to optimize build setup and runtime.
- Analyze system usage to improve time to insight in the build system.
- Improve developer workflows and reduce onboarding time for new developers.
- Make workflow improvements while increasing system cost efficiency.
- Build internal tools that improve how engineers write, test, and release software.
- Provide development best practices and thoughtful technical leadership.
Required qualifications
- Understand cloud platform architecture, including networking, security, storage, and resilient application topologies.
- Have prior experience implementing Continuous Deployment and Continuous Integration practices.
- Have prior experience writing and maintaining Terraform.
- Be able to write and test software in Go, Python, or C++.
- Have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant experience.
Compensation and benefits
- The annual base salary range is $170,000 to $240,000, with variation based on location and qualifications.
- Regular full-time employees may receive stock options, health insurance, paid vacation, sick leave, holiday pay, and a 401K savings plan.
- Relocation assistance may be available for eligible roles.
