The Senior Software Engineer joins the Customer Acquisition Squad to build customer-facing experiences across the home lending journey.
The role owns solutions end to end from implementation and testing through deployment and production support.
Core Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and build customer-facing lending experiences.
- Own production solutions through implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
- Use AI platforms, models, orchestrators, and agentic solutions to accelerate delivery and improve quality.
- Work with a micro squad to solve meaningful customer problems and influence decisions.
What We're Looking For
- Strong TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js development experience.
- Ability to design, build, and consume GraphQL and REST APIs.
- Solid PostgreSQL expertise across modelling, migrations, and optimisation.
- Understanding of scalable system design, distributed services, and integrations.
- Ability to write clean, secure, well-tested, and maintainable production code.
- A full-cycle engineering mindset with ownership of production systems.
- Ability to direct, review, and refine AI-generated code.
- Understanding of agentic workflows and sound engineering judgement.
- Ability to balance engineering excellence with pragmatism, speed, and collaboration.
Technology Environment
- Frontend technologies include TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Storybook.
- Backend technologies include Node.js, GraphQL, and REST APIs.
- Cloud and infrastructure technologies include Azure, Cloudflare, Docker, Bicep, and Terraform.
- DevOps and delivery tools include GitHub, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, and monorepo tooling.
- Testing and observability tools include Jest, Playwright, and Application Insights.
- AI and developer productivity tools include Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, agentic workflows, and AI-assisted coding.
