The Creator Content Team provides a secure, scalable, and extensible foundation for ingestion, processing, storing, managing, and serving user content.

As a Senior Software Engineer (Backend, Distributed Systems), you will design and build backend services to help game creators reach the broadest audience possible.

You will help us build & scale large distributed systems, data processing and analysis pipelines, an access control system, Open Cloud APIs all of which are central for all content created in Roblox.

You have:

• Experience: You have 7+ years of experience working on backend, distributed systems that are scalable and reliable. You have experience in architecting, designing and leading implementation of mission critical applications at scale.
• Knowledge: You are proficient in one or more programming languages (C#, Go, Java, C++, Python or similar programming language). You have a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent professional experience) in Computer Science or related engineering field, Masters is a plus.
• Creativity: You take a creative and strategic approach to solving hard problems and envisioning ways to improve and grow the capabilities of the system. You have a vision for what can make a product great.
• Team-oriented mindset: You can work well as part of a team and know how to collaborate with all participants to develop the best solutions. You are happy to share your knowledge with everyone on the team.
