Circle is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to extend in-house blockchain systems infrastructure for tokenization.
The role focuses on scalable, secure financial infrastructure connecting blockchain protocols with traditional banking systems.
What you'll be responsible for
- Analyze requirements, procedures, and problems to improve and modify existing systems.
- Build and own scalable microservices that provide reliable and secure APIs for transferring value and assets.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to design, test, and shape Circle features.
- Develop and document system design procedures, testing procedures, and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot program and system malfunctions to restore normal functioning.
- Build publicly accessible APIs that simplify developer integration with complex payment systems.
- Integrate platform services with leading banks and financial technologies.
- Build payment infrastructure using SQL or NoSQL data sources, messaging systems, and APIs.
- Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles.
What you'll bring
- At least six years of professional software development experience in object-oriented languages such as Java and Go.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field, or equivalent experience.
