Role Overview
Senior Software Engineer role focused on designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance software systems.
The position is a remote contract role with work available from anywhere.
The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize software systems to meet performance and scalability requirements.
- Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and promote engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and system design for long-term maintainability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in relevant technologies.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, Go, or another relevant programming language.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, containerization, orchestration, CI/CD, DevOps, microservices, and distributed systems.
Compensation
- Contract payout is $50–$150 per hour.
