The client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for contract-based backend software development.

Job Type and Payout
- The engagement is a contract role.
- Compensation is listed at $50-$150 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize software systems for performance and scalability.
- Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and uphold best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues in production environments.
- Contribute to architecture and system design decisions for maintainability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least five years of professional software development experience in relevant technologies.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes containerization and orchestration tools.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
