Senior Software Engineer role for a client engagement on a contract basis.
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance software systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Compensation and Contract
- The role is a contract position.
- Compensation is listed at $50–$150 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize software systems for performance and scalability.
- Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and uphold engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders on technical requirements.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues in production environments.
- Contribute to architecture and system design for long-term maintainability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience in relevant technologies.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
- Experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
