Contract Senior Software Engineer role focused on designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance software systems.
The role includes collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Location and Work Arrangement
- Remote role with work-from-anywhere arrangements.
Compensation
- Payout is $50-$150 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize software systems for performance and scalability.
- Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and system design for long-term maintainability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least five years of professional software development experience in relevant technologies.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes containerization and orchestration tools.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
