Role Overview
The Senior Software Engineer - Backend will build high-performance APIs, scalable microservices, and robust infrastructure for Pocket FM's audio platform.
The role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving ability, and a high-ownership mindset in a fast-paced product environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Python or Golang.
- Develop and manage RESTful APIs for mobile and web platforms and internal tools.
- Collaborate with product, design, and analytics teams to deliver features at scale.
- Optimize performance, ensure high availability, and handle large-scale traffic.
- Write clean, modular, and testable code following software best practices.
- Lead debugging efforts, production issue resolution, and post-mortem analysis.
