This role will be based in our National Support Office in Burnely VIC.
This is a hands on role with genuine influence across the organisation.
You will:
Design, build and evolve scalable AI and data solutions used across multiple business areas
Set and uplift engineering standards, patterns and guardrails to support safe, high quality delivery
Explore emerging AI tools and frameworks, turning experimentation into reusable solutions
Partner with product owners and stakeholders to translate business needs into well designed technical outcomes
Mentor and support other engineers through code reviews, pairing and everyday collaboration
Improve performance, reliability and cost across platforms and pipelines
You’re an experienced engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and thinking beyond a single solution. You’re comfortable working through ambiguity, take a product focused approach to engineering and communicate clearly with both technical and non technical audiences.
You value teamwork, enjoy sharing knowledge and like contributing to an environment where people learn from each other and build strong outcomes together.
Strong experience in software engineering, including delivering AI enabled solutions into production
Hands on skills with modern programming languages such as Python, C# or Scala
Practical experience with machine learning and generative AI frameworks
Experience working in cloud environments (Azure or GCP)
Confidence working in Agile teams and influencing technical direction through collaboration
