About the Role
Serve as a senior individual contributor designing, developing, and maintaining production-ready tools and products for the Brilliant Harvest platform.
Focus on ETL pipelines for data extraction and ingestion and on improving a Document Ingestion and RAG-based AI Assistant.
Contribute to business requirements analysis, technical design recommendations, effort estimation, and architecture evolution.
Core Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, and maintain prototypes and production products.
- Design, develop, document, and maintain ETL tools for data extraction and ingestion.
- Expand and improve the Document Ingestion and RAG-based AI Assistant with the AI Architect.
- Participate in brainstorming, design reviews, code reviews, and architecture evolution discussions.
- Review and comment on the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and contribute to continuous practice improvements.
Required Experience and Skills
- At least 4 years of experience as a full-stack or backend developer with strong ETL skills.
- Efficient use of LLM tooling and experience developing applications using an LLM API such as GPT.
- Proficiency in C# and good knowledge of the .NET Core ecosystem.
- Strong experience with Entity Framework Core.
- Experience with unit and API testing using xUnit, Postman, or other testing tools.
- Experience working in an agile environment such as Azure DevOps.
- Proficient understanding of Git.
- Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code.
- Experience taking an idea from conception to production.
- Experience with frameworks such as LangChain and vector databases.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with Python, React Native, TypeScript, Redux Toolkit, CSS, Node.js, microservices architecture, Redis Cache, Docker, or Kubernetes is preferred.
Compensation
- Salary is CAD 110,000 to CAD 140,000 a year.
