Role Overview
Lead the future of user interface development at Questrade Financial Group.
Own architectural design and development for front-end applications across mobile and web platforms.

Workplace and Location
- The role is hybrid with at least three days per week in the office.
- The position may be based in Toronto, Ontario, or Calgary, Alberta.
Responsibilities
- Define the long-term technical vision and strategy for front-end applications.
- Lead architecture and development using React Native and Angular.
- Optimize performance and real-time data streaming for trading applications.
- Govern practices for code quality, component libraries, state management, testing, CI/CD, and cross-platform development.
- Research and adopt new front-end technologies and frameworks.
- Champion AI tools and best practices within engineering squads.
- Collaborate with product, UX, architecture, and engineering leadership.
- Solve complex front-end performance, compatibility, and state-management challenges.
