Mandatory Skill Set
- Expert Level Java 8+
- Strong knowledge & experience of memory management, multi-threading - concurrency and synchronization.
- Strong knowledge of database systems; relational, NoSQL
- Strong experience in delivering highly scalable, fault-tolerant, supportable and well-architected solutions
- Strong fundamental knowledge of computer science algorithms, data-structures and design patterns.
- Experienced with Spring Boot, HTTP REST APIs and Docker/containers
- Automated testing ethos (JUnit and Spring Boot testing framework
- Familiar with CI pipelines (ideally Gitlab CI)
- Comfortable working in an agile scrum environment and using git
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Quick learner
- Highly proactive and takes initiative to identify problem areas and evolve solutions.
Desirable Skill Set
- Investment Banking domain - Good understanding of capital markets
- Experience in surveillance domain
- Significant cloud experience, preferably with AWS
- Unix and scripting skills
- Experience with React/Next.js (or willing to learn)
