This Canada-based individual contributor role focuses on backend development, APIs, and improving real products.

The role collaborates with web, mobile, product, design, and DevOps partners.

Design, develop, test, and document software for existing and new products.
Develop and optimize backend services, including ASP.NET web applications.
Design .NET RESTful APIs and SQL Server database solutions.
Build, version, and optimize APIs for performance, security, and backward compatibility.
Integrate third-party APIs with authentication, rate-limit, retry, and error-handling controls.
Use an agentic coding IDE while reviewing and verifying generated code.
Collaborate across frontend, mobile, product, design, DevOps, and development teams.
Patch and release the product with DevOps.
Review code and handle merge requests.
Fix bottlenecks and bugs while maintaining code quality, organization, and automation.
Estimate work, coach junior and intermediate developers, and improve development practices.
Respond to critical issues, system instability, and feature regressions.
