Role Summary PDF Solutions is seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and distributed systems that power our industry-leading semiconductor manufacturing analytics and connectivity platforms.

This role will work closely with cross-functional engineering, product, and customer-facing teams to deliver robust, high-performance solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across advanced semiconductor manufacturing environments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend architecture, cloud-native services, APIs, and enterprise-scale software development.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices architectures.
• Build high-performance systems capable of processing large volumes of manufacturing, equipment, and analytics data.
• Design execution pipelines, data structures and algorithms with a focus on performance, parallelism, thread safety and distributed execution.
• Collaborate with product management, solutions engineering, and software teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop secure, reliable, and maintainable software following industry best practices.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and system reliability.
• Participate in architecture reviews, technical design discussions, and code reviews.
