Role Overview
Senior civil site engineering role requiring 15–20 years of experience.
The role supervises construction execution, quality, coordination, progress, records, and handover activities.
Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities and ensure execution follows approved GFC drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Monitor RCC, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, finishing, and other civil works.
- Check reinforcement, shuttering, levels, dimensions, and concrete works before execution.
- Prepare and verify BOQs, quantity calculations, material requirements, and measurements.
- Monitor material consumption and site stock and reduce unnecessary wastage.
- Conduct quality checks and coordinate cube tests, slump tests, and other required inspections.
- Prepare daily progress reports, maintain site records, and monitor schedule progress.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with consultants and management for timely solutions.
- Supervise contractors and labour teams and ensure proper manpower utilization.
- Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and construction standards.
- Attend site meetings, provide progress updates, verify contractor bills, and coordinate inspection and handover activities.
