About the Role

Sanctum Infratech is seeking a hands-on Senior Site Engineer to oversee residential redevelopment construction projects in Mumbai.

The role owns site execution, contractor and consultant coordination, quality standards, and progress against project timelines.

Construction Execution

Supervise day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
Ensure work follows approved architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
Monitor RCC, masonry, plaster, waterproofing, tiling, flooring, painting, plumbing, electrical, and other finishing works.
Check dimensions, levels, alignment, reinforcement, and shuttering before execution.

Coordination and Planning

Coordinate with architects, structural and MEP consultants, contractors, vendors, and site teams.
Plan daily and weekly activities and assist with work schedules, material requirements, and manpower planning.
Track progress against planned timelines and highlight delays or bottlenecks to the Project Manager.

Quality, Materials, and Reporting

Ensure workmanship follows quality standards and specifications.
Prepare daily progress reports, site measurements, material records, and work status reports.
Monitor material requirements and coordinate with procurement.
Check contractor quantities and measurements for billing purposes.

Site Management

Supervise labour and contractor productivity and ensure efficient manpower use.
Monitor safety practices and compliance with site safety requirements.
Coordinate inspections and approvals at construction stages.
Maintain site documentation, drawings, records, housekeeping, and discipline.

Required Qualifications

Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
5–8 years of relevant experience in residential or redevelopment construction.
Strong practical knowledge of RCC and finishing works.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
Experience handling contractors, subcontractors, and labour teams.

Technical Skills

Knowledge of construction materials, methods, quality control, site measurements, and contractor billing.
Good communication and coordination skills with the ability to make practical, timely site decisions.
AutoCAD proficiency and basic MS Excel or project reporting knowledge are advantageous.

Preferred Experience

Experience in Mumbai residential redevelopment projects, particularly high-rise RCC construction, is preferred.
Candidates should be hands-on, technically strong, proactive, solution-oriented, disciplined about timelines and quality, and comfortable taking responsibility for site execution.
