About the Role
Backdropsource is seeking a Senior Shopify Developer with hands-on experience building, customizing, and optimizing modern Shopify stores.
The role combines Shopify development, pixel-perfect UI/UX, technical SEO, performance optimization, international store management, and Agentic SEO.
Workplace and Schedule
- The role is remote, with initial training at the office in Coimbatore.
- The position is full-time and seeks candidates with 3–4+ years of experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, maintain, and optimize Shopify 2.0 themes and storefronts.
- Convert Figma designs into pixel-perfect responsive pages across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
- Build conversion-focused UI/UX and work with Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/ES6, AJAX, JSON, Metafields, Storefront API, and Shopify APIs.
- Customize storefront components and integrate or troubleshoot apps, APIs, payment systems, marketing tools, and analytics platforms.
- Audit technical SEO, resolve crawlability and indexing issues, implement Schema markup, and improve Core Web Vitals and page speed.
- Manage international Shopify stores, localization, Shopify Markets, cross-browser testing, and device compatibility.
- Collaborate with design, SEO, marketing, and ecommerce teams to improve conversion, user experience, and organic visibility.
