Senior Security Platform Engineer - DevSecOps

Role overview

What you will do

• Lead and enhance DevSecOps and secure software development lifecycle practices.
• Embed security testing into development workflows.
• Automate security, compliance, and software supply-chain controls using Policy as Code.
• Provide security guidance through code reviews, architecture reviews, and developer support.
• Build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines with automated controls, quality gates, and assurance.
• Drive security automation, platform management, governance, and continuous improvement across cloud and application environments.

What makes you suitable

• Relevant qualification in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• At least five years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD pipeline development.
• Strong scripting and automation experience with Python, Bash, PowerShell, APIs, and GitOps.
• Hands-on application security, vulnerability management, and shift-left security experience.
• Proficiency in CI/CD governance, Infrastructure as Code, Policy as Code, repository management, and security compliance automation.
• Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills focused on automation and developer enablement.
