You can define and code sign architecture on your own or with other specialists.
You are proficient with Infrastructure Security Design, Security Supervision Design, and Information Systems Security (ISS).
You can advise and give support to the rest of the team.
You know how to use: Risk Analysis, Network Security, Cryptography, Identity & Access Management (software/hardware development, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and cloud technologies.
You can monitor and measure risk as well as compliance.
You can work with customers and technical teams.
You adapt easily to a new environment.
Minimum Requirements: Skills, Experience, Education, Technical/Specialized Knowledge, Certifications, Language
- Bachelor’s degree in information security, information technology, computer science, computer engineering, or another equivalent field of study; or equivalent work experience.
- 10-15 years of experience applying security skills to solve challenging security problems using knowledge and/or skills in multiple security domains, including threat modeling/risk assessment; applied cryptography; cloud security; and tool development, usage, configuration, and deployment.
- Experience with IAM tools, protocols, and security; and the security architecture, design, and development of IAM/CIAM applications.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in information security, information technology, computer science, computer engineering, or another equivalent field of study; or equivalent work experience
- Experience in one or more of the following domains:
- Professional software development, modern programming and frameworks, and agile development practices
- Developing, deploying, and/or automating security tools to identify security flaws in products.
- Web application security technologies, frameworks, protocols, API Security, mitigation techniques, and potential pitfalls.
- Security testing, CICD Pipelines, and automation.
- Cloud deployments, GCP and/or AWS cloud platforms, cloud technologies such as Kubernetes, and relevant security concepts.
- Role as Product Security Engineer in Thales:
- Analyse security requirements and program constraints
- Develop high-level security-compliant architecture and contribute to the design of the preliminary and detailed designs of the solution: it includes the study of alternatives and a risk assessment
- Be technical lead of the elaboration of the security components architectures (e.g. SIEM, IAM, gateways, detection and deception capabilities...)
- Guarantee the architecture coherency with the BL policy as well as major cybersecurity standards and regulation frameworks (NIST, ISO, etc.)
- Produce justification for architecture brick choices
- Ensure technical coordination across a multi-disciplined team
- Present, recommend, and demonstrate solutions to customer representatives, peers, or technical teams.
- Conduct security-related tasks including:
- Production of engineering and architecture reports, specifications and design documents
- Verification of architectures and solutions against established requirements
- Development of documentation to enable the accreditation and certification of solutions
- Collaborate/interact with cyber suppliers/vendors for technical assessment of cyber products to select a suitable one
- Be involved in pre-sale and sale activities as a technical support to contribute to offer
- Attend some conferences and workshops in the field of cyber security and present innovative work at those events.
