Role Overview
Databricks is hiring a Senior SAP Developer to build clean-core extensions, applications, integrations, and AI-enabled finance workflows.
The role combines SAP capabilities with Databricks AI and data platform technologies to automate finance operations.
SAP will support Record-to-Report, Source-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash processes.
What You Will Do
- Develop in-app and side-by-side SAP BTP extensions using released APIs and extension points.
- Build full-stack Databricks-native applications and services that integrate with SAP.
- Implement secure integrations using SAP Integration Suite, APIs, OData v4, event-driven patterns, and change-data feeds.
- Embed RAG, prompt engineering, tool calling, and human-in-the-loop controls into finance workflows.
- Build SAP data pipelines and extraction patterns into the Databricks Lakehouse with attention to lineage and quality.
- Write tests, use CI/CD and transport pipelines, participate in code reviews, and follow engineering standards.
- Collaborate with technical leads, functional experts, and product owners to deliver working software.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of SAP development experience is required.
