Senior SAP BTP - CPI Technical Consultant

Job Summary

Joule Agent Development

• Design and deploy pro-code AI agents on SAP BTP using Joule Studio, LangGraph, or SAP Cloud SDK for AI.
• Define agent tools, orchestration logic, and backend integrations with S/4HANA OData APIs through BTP Destination Service.

A2A Integration

• Implement A2A communication between SAP Joule and ServiceNow AI Agent Studio.
• Expose Joule agents as A2A-compliant servers, author Agent Cards, configure JSON-RPC endpoints, and register external providers.
• Design delegation patterns, asynchronous push notifications, and timeout-resilient multi-agent pipelines.

Security and Platform Engineering

• Configure OAuth2, SAP IAS App2App trust, BTP Cloud Identity Services, least-privilege access, token governance, and auditable agent call chains.
• Own AI Core, SAP Build Process Automation, Cloud Foundry, Destination Service, and SAP Agent Gateway configuration.

Observability

• Instrument agent pipelines with structured logging, distributed tracing, and alerting.
• Improve root-cause analysis and reliability across multi-hop agent calls.

Required Qualifications

• 4 or more years of hands-on SAP BTP engineering experience with Cloud Foundry, SAP Cloud Identity Services, and Destination Service.
• Experience building and deploying custom Joule agents integrated with SAP backend systems through OData or REST APIs.
• Production experience with SAP Joule and ServiceNow A2A integration, including Agent Cards and external provider registration.
• Strong knowledge of agentic AI frameworks, multi-agent orchestration, API security, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow AI Agents, Integration Hub, Flow Designer, and credential aliases.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and business audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MCP alongside A2A.
• Exposure to SAP BRIM, SOM, or BTP Integration Suite.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow Yokohama or Zurich interoperability features.
• SAP BTP or ServiceNow certifications.
