Responsibilities

  • Own the buyer side sales strategy by identifying, targeting, and acquiring contractors, developers, and project owners as active buyers on the platform.
  • Build and manage a qualified pipeline of construction projects and procurement decision makers.
  • Lead the full sales cycle end to end: prospecting, discovery, product demo, quotation, negotiation, and closing.
  • Develop and refine the sales playbook including targeting, messaging, objection handling, and pricing conversations.
  • Diagnose each buyer's real blockers and work cross functionally to remove them.
  • Partner closely with the supplier team to ensure catalog depth, availability, and pricing match demand.
  • Negotiate volume and framework agreements with larger contractors and high value repeat buyers.
  • Set targets for and mentor junior sales staff, review pipeline and performance weekly.
  • Own and report on core demand metrics like active buyers, orders placed, GMV, conversion rate, and repeat order rate.
  • Represent iBuild with contractors and developers at project sites, industry events, trade fairs, and networking opportunities.
  • Feed structured market and buyer insights back to product and leadership to shape the roadmap.

Qualifications

  • Proven B2B sales experience, ideally selling to contractors or developers, or within construction materials, building supply, or construction technology.
  • A track record of consistently hitting and exceeding sales targets and closing complex, relationship driven deals.
  • Deep understanding of the construction procurement cycle and how contractors actually buy materials.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship building skills, comfortable with both executive level and site level stakeholders.
  • The ability to build a sales process from scratch and lead by example in an early stage environment.
  • Strong CRM proficiency and disciplined pipeline management.
  • Fluent Arabic and strong English.
