Role Description

As part of our continued growth across the Middle East, I’m looking for a Senior Sales Manager to help drive our Electrical & Electronic Solutions (EES) business across the Middle East.

This is a high-impact role focused on developing and converting opportunities across all business segments, supporting major infrastructure, industrial and energy projects across the region.

This full-time on-site role, located in Dubai, is for a Senior Sales Manager at Wesco Anixter.

The role involves developing and managing sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets.

Responsibilities include cultivating customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities, developing proposals, organizing sales presentations, and negotiating contracts.

The Senior Sales Manager will also lead and mentor our inside sales team to optimize performance and ensure customer satisfaction through exceptional service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales and business development skills, with a proven track record in achieving sales targets and expanding customer portfolios.
  • Leadership and team management capabilities, including experience mentoring and motivating sales professionals.
  • Proficiency in market research, data analysis, and developing strategic sales plans.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the distribution, logistics, or supply chain industries is essential.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are an advantage.

  • Driving sales growth across the region in key projects and industrial markets
  • Building strong relationships with EPCs, OEMs, contractors and end users
  • Developing a robust, high-quality sales pipeline
  • Identifying and converting strategic project opportunities
  • Working closely with regional leadership on key growth initiatives

  • Strong commercial mindset with a track record of delivering results
  • Understanding of electrical distribution / supply chain solutions
  • Ability to influence, engage and win at multiple stakeholder levels
